The Aeon Labs Recessed Door Sensor GEN5

The Recessed Door Sensor GEN5 is an extremely compact reed sensor. Aeon Labs designed it to fit inside of the frame of your doors. As with other Reed Sensors, the Recessed Door/Window sensor detects the opening of doors, windows allowing you to detect and automate the rest of your appliances. I.E. You can turn the basement light on for 10 minutes when the basement door is opened.  Receive a notification via text if a window is opened after 3 am Aeon labs have designed their sensor with compatibility in mind and installation is a breeze. Simply turn the device on and it will automatically sync with your home's Z-wave System.

To hide the system in side the frame of your door all you need to do is to drill a small hole as described in the Manual Instructions - Aeon Labs Recessed Door Sensor
