Z-wave repeater and range extender receives Z-Wave communication, and repeats it on to other Z-Wave devices in your network increasing your network’s accuracy and reliability. All Z-wave devices are Z-wave repeaters , but we do understand that in certain circumstances there may be a long gap or rooms which the user opt not to automate. The Z-wave repeater and range extender is a small device that greatly increases the range of the host Z-wave network. It has powerful compact design. Outlet friendly Z-wave repeater is designed to not interfere with any neighboring power outlets. Z-wave repeater and range extender is powered by the same awesome technology and brilliant intelligence that binds all of Aeon’s products: Z-Wave protocol. Using this product and technology, you will avoid interference with WiFi, Bluetooth and other systems that operate on the crowded 2.4GHz band.

Each Z-Wave network may include up to 232 nodes, and consists of two sets of nodes: controllers and slave devices.

Nodes may be configured to retransmit the message in order to guarantee connectivity in the multipath environment of a residential house. Average communication range between two nodes is 100m, and with message ability to hop up to four times between nodes, this gives enough coverage for most residential houses.
